The Oakland Futures Baseball Program is the youth division of the Bulldogs Organization. What started in 2017 as an off season training program for youth athletes, the Futures teams are now one of the best youth development programs in the area and compete across the state, the midwest and beyond. Currently there is a team at each level from 8u to 12u and also includes our Futures prep team which is made of 6u and 7u players. Our curriculum based approach starts with hammering home fundamentals and creating a skill set needed to compete in game situations. Volume of work, league and tournament play increase progressively as ages increase and physical benchmarks are met.
The Futures Teams are overseen and assisted by Bulldogs Director of Operations, Chuck VanRobays, and Baseball Operations Director Nick Vogelmeier. Both have a strong influence on setting the standards for the youth program.
